Simran recommended this to me last week and since then I have not been able to stop listening it. It’s pretty much the best thing I’ve heard in a long time. Hard to think that the singer Alexis moonlights as a 5th grade teacher, or that the band met and formed in a cafe that guitarist Derek worked at.
Word to the wise, I’d check your speakers can handle this first. The bass damn near ruined my shitty laptop speakers. More songs can be found here. Ring Ring samples a Funkadelic track and as a result is pretty damn smooth.
